Lost Girl (a summary):
After having lived a life here and there, sleeping in not very inhabitable places. Having run away from her parental home after being exposed to the abuse of her stepfather for too long, she hadn't had a home until she met a young woman by the name of Bo Dennis in Toronto. This opened the doors to a world she never imagined possible, filled with mythological creatures, most of them looking like average humans. They were called the fae. As a human amongst them it wasn't easy, and often she'd been told things were too dangerous for her. She stayed and stuck with her new-found family and went through a lot. One of the last things to happen to her was falling in love with a male Siren, nearly getting engaged, getting in trouble and watching her boyfriend get killed and die in her arms. Not too long after that, she sacrificed herself in a battle against some of the darkest forces you can imagine and ended up in Valhalla.
After being rescued and brought back into the living world, she decided that it was time for her to leave that world and all its dangers behind and travel to Europe.

Dangers of Europe:
However, there was someone that seemed to know about her, about who she was and things she had gone through. This person was one Jim Moriarty, and he found her to be the perfect candidate for a sneaky new plan, also because she had a death date, which meant people either knew she was traveling, or thought she was dead. Once the time to deploy his plan arrived, Kenzi was kidnapped. A team of hypnotists and neurologists working for Moriarty spent who knows how long brainwashing her and planting memories and ideas into her subconscious until her past life was mostly forgotten and replaced by a new life, seemingly as real as the old one.
Once they concluded she was confident enough about the artificial memories, they set the next part of the plan in motion. Kenzi was knocked out and transferred to the well-known residence of one Sherlock Holmes, where she was positioned as if it were her own home.
When said detective discovered the intruder of his home, this person introduced herself as Sherly Kimberly Holmes and claimed it was in fact he who was intruding in her house. After some arguing between them that it was obvious the other person was wrong, things got cleared up a bit when Mr. Holmes recieved a text message by Moriarty reading: "Do you like my present?"
Kimberly (as Sherlock chose to call her) claimed that she, as opposed to Sherlock, is a consulting criminal along with her sidekick Jane Watson. The one going against her was apparently called Jamelia Moriaty, a consulting detective. Instead of having had a history with drugs, she had an alcohol problem. She also claimed that she came from an alternate universe where things were the opposite and that she was taken from it by a bunch of scientist working for Moriarty, who was out to get something to use against the one ruining business for him. Of course this wasn't something Sherlock was willing to accept as the truth.

Life in 221B:
After a rocky start, there was an agreement made that she could stay in Baker Street and sleep in an empty room. This was mostly because Sherlock saw a potential interesting case in her. As it turned out, she was a natural in criminal activities, well some of them. Despite obviously having a talent for breaking locks, recognising which items are the most valuable to steal and sell, pickpocketing and using her body/good looks to get what she wanted (within reason), she does make a lot of mistakes that a proper consulting criminal would not make, and it gets her in trouble.
After settling into Baker Street, she attempts to resume her criminal activities still having the idea planted in her head that this was all she knew how to do, often getting into trouble because of it, from which Sherlock has saved her quite a few times for the sole purpose that she might be useful later on. Since John was out a lot, dating and sleeping over, Sherlock and Kimberly were forced to communicate more than they probably normally would. Sometimes Kimberly would even tag along on cases if John was unavailable. Through all this time they spend together and the sides they saw of each other, Kimberly found herself falling slowly for the charms of the enigmatic Sherlock Holmes. To her great surprise the feeling was sort of reciprocated and the mutal interest let to a situation where she wasn't quite sure whether it would be called a proper relationship, but she figured it was what you would call a relationship with Sherlock Holmes.
However, it was not paradise at all. Kimberly was suffering from a horrible temper and started arguments, overreacting to everything and being overemotional most of the times without knowing exactly what caused it. Later she would figure that people messing with her mind would of course have an effect on her body, certainly when a part of her subconscious still had the idea that who she was being did not feel natural. Eventually realising who she really was and what had happened gave her the opportunity to come to terms with all these racing emotions that she didn’t understand before. From there on out, she improved.
Her life of crime was eventually given up to serve as an occasional adviser of Sherlock where her expertise on criminal matters proved to save some time. Other than that she tried to find some job(s) to occupy herself and to give herself some money of her own, as she had been living off of Sherlock's money at that point. An opportunity would present itself through Mycroft. This opportunity included using her experience from her time among the Fae, and it meant her overall warrior skills would improve. She had missed the adventure and adrenaline, and so she took the job.

Eastern Europe:
There has been a moment where the fact that people had been toying with her brain became apparent for the first time of course. This moment happened when Kimberly had stolen something big, and that moment she had gone so far that she could not be protected from the consequences (to which there had been several negative responses, but Sherlock insisted she still served some purpose at that moment). Sherlock had bought her a little time, but eventually, of course, he had to tell the Yard who was the culprit. And so it was that Lestrade personally came to arrest her in Baker Street, where he found her sitting completely prepared for him. She had dressed herself properly and did not even put up a fight or show any sign of surprise. She hadn’t been in prison long before some random person suddenly turned themselves in, taking full blame for what happened. In response they had to free her.
This meant that she had given the Yard a reason to have slight doubts about Sherlock’s capacities and while this didn’t bother him too much, it did not make his job much easier.
Provoking it, Kimberly got it to go so far it resulted in an argument involving John as well, after which she ran away and fled the country. For a while, she resided in Eastern Europe, traveling from country to country somewhat in a haze, living off of whatever she could get through robbery. It did not take too long before she lost more weight than was healthy. All the while, Lestrade (with the help of Mycroft) kept an eye on her whereabouts, and so, after a while, pinpointed her location to a hospital in Germany. Apparently she had been able to get her hands on enough booze to drink herself into a coma. Lestrade arranged the transfer to London’s own St. Bart’s hospital and informed Sherlock (who had been more grumpy than ever) about the situation.
Once she regained consciousness enough to answer questions, these were indeed asked by Sherlock himself. She confessed that she had no idea what exactly happened, but that she found herself in Eastern Europe, accompanied by a man who worked for Moriarty and who was supposed to finish her there, making it look like suicide. During their trip, they of course talked and got to know each other a little bit (what else are you going to do) and in the end the man’s conscious and compassion got in the way of his orders and he couldn’t do it. Thinking she could not possibly do any harm as no one wanted her back in England anyway, he let her go.
After explaining her experiences, she then proceeded to ask Sherlock what she had stolen. He was a tad surprised she had no idea, but maybe even more so by the fact that she was disappointed that it had in fact been an ancient Chinese relic from a museum, one made of jade at that. She said it was not her style and on her own account, she would never have stolen that.
Of course it had to be asked why she let herself go to waste and drink so much while she knew better. Her reply came down to the fact that there was a lot going on in her mind: she felt embarrassed because she was stuck far away from home, angry that she got herself into such a situation and even more angry she couldn’t remember what had happened, plus the pain of walking around with the thought that the ones she cared about (especially one of course) did not care for her eventually led to paranoia and bad dreams of how the cursed her, laughed at her, kicked her out of their lives and humiliated her. In the end she could not cope with her thoughts, feelings and the black hole that was left where her memories of the situation should be. She deemed it easier to drink to forget, however it resulted in near death because she forgot to care about how her body would not be able to handle such amounts of alcohol.
It was concluded that her subconscious had been tempered with so she would steal something which could possibly remind Sherlock of his case with a gang of Chinese smugglers (“The Blind Banker”), after which she would be taken to somewhere in the East where she would have “killed herself”.
Sherlock took her out of the hospital and brought her back to Baker Street, going against any expressions of distrust from the people around him.

Mycroft:
Due to her former occupation and her attraction for trouble, she formed a bit of a task for Scotland Yard and Mycroft Holmes alike, though the latter was mostly because she was associated with Sherlock and there have been incidents which threatened to put a dent in the safety of the nation. Needless to say, Mycroft did not have good words for her. Seeing as the feeling was mutual, there was some mud throwing in both words and actions.
In the end, Mycroft did pull through and offered her a job in association with MI6, though where she works for him directly. It is a job in which she can channel her experiences and skills that were gained throughout her life. Her strength and combat skills improve over training and consequently she works her way up. Her hope is that she makes a difference in some cases in which she helps out, sometimes with and sometimes without Sherlock.

Felix:
One very unexpected thing to have happened was the little planned accident called Felix Holmes. What actually happened is a bit vague, but Kimberly ended up getting pregnant and having the baby. Despite what people may believe Sherlock proved to be a great father in his own way. He knew exactly the how's and what's. Felix is growing up to be a very smart young boy who laughs a lot, a ridiculous amount even. He seems to be unfazed by some things most kids would find disturbing. While his future is uncertain in terms of what he will achieve and become, he and his parents (mostly his mum) are enjoying the here and now.

Remembering:
The moment she remembered her old life again came as a huge blow to her. The fact that she had been living this life with memories that weren't hers made everything have an unrealistic air about it in the beginning. Suddenly she understood why she had all these emotions racing through her body that she could not define the origin of. It was a turning point to the life she built up in London, and it would bring mostly improvement.
She wasn't going to give her life in Baker Street up. She felt safe and at home in a way she hadn't felt for a long time. After having been called Kimberly for so long, she did not want to get rid of this and decided to formally change her name from Mackenzie Malikov to Kimberly Mackenzie Malikov.
Remembering awakened an even greater warrior instinct in her and a drive to keep helping Sherlock and the MI6/Mycroft in any way she could without fearing confrontations. After all, she had been through worse.
My own character for BBC Sherlock stories and RP's, based on Kenzi from Lost Girl but with a sort of afterwards story. I am really proud of her ^^ If anyone reading this has any questions please ask them.
Don't criticise me for having a fantasy, please. I am fully aware that it is fantasy, but I hold it dear.
Don't use this character without my knowledge, please. I would love to have fan-edits and fan-art, but am not too fond of fanfics not written by me because... well I am protective/possessive, haha! No offense :D :)

Character was founded and RP's/stories started in 2013

Since the storyis a collaboration, extra credit for the character goes to my own personal Sherlock: :icon6youngsparrow9:6YoungSparrow9
